About James Moon
Jungik (James) Moon is a personal-injury lawyer in Toronto. Former insurance-defence lawyer, now on the side of injured people. Full cases handled in English or Korean.
I started my career at a leading downtown Toronto firm defending insurance companies. I reviewed medical records, assessed injury claims, and saw firsthand how insurers evaluate risk, challenge claims, and determine what a case is worth.
Over time, I began meeting the people behind those files - the individuals dealing with pain, uncertainty, and the challenges of navigating a complicated claims process while trying to move forward with their lives. I realized I wanted to use what I had learned on the other side of the table to help those individuals.
Today, I bring that insurance defence experience to personal injury law. My goal is simple: provide honest advice about your case, explain your options clearly, and help you pursue fair compensation. Every file receives personal attention from me, in English or Korean.
Background
Ontario Bar, Osgoode Hall, U of T, and a full decade of Korean-community writing.

I defended insurers before I sued them. I know what they look for, what they will fight, and where the file quietly settles.
